Loddon District Association was formed in 1973 as part of the Camping and Caravanning Club and covers the North of Hampshire from Farnborough in the East to Andover in the West and South to Alton. The area is centred on Basingstoke.
All members of the Camping and Caravanning Club are invited to attend all our meets. Our weekend meets are designed to cover all tastes. They include quiet weekends where you can just relax, to those with activities were if you wish, you can take part in quizzes, walks, BBQs and much, much more.
These meets, are held on sites ranging from “full facility” to “minimum facility” and provide a base from where you can visit nearby places of interest, explore the surrounding countryside or maybe just call on friends.
More and more members now “camp” throughout the year, but there are those who prefer to simply enjoy the various social events that take place with Loddon DA during the winter months.
There are also some lucky Club members who through our club’s Carefree Service, take their units to warmer climes for the winter.
As part of THE FRIENDLY CLUB we welcome all types of camping and caravanning units. We also encourage Youth camping and have a Camping Club Youth (CCY) section , where under the supervision, of a youth leader, the younger members of the family are able to camp in their own area.
